Item Description

MAKO Spearguns Throw Flasher

The MAKO Spearguns Throw Flasher is a proven way to bring in big fish and keep them in as you line up your shot. Used extensively by blue water hunters in South Africa, the throw flasher is a must have for big game hunters everywhere.

Just throw it in any direction and watch it slowly sink. The reflecting light attracts the fish, allowing you to move in for the shot.

The rate of descent is about 8 feet (2.4m) per minute and can be adjusted by cutting an inch or more from the 6” piece of latex tubing if you'd like to increase the descent rate.

Choose between the “double threat”, or the “triple threat” flasher.

Each kit includes 2 or 3 (your choice) of the MAKO Spearguns Flashers, a 6” piece of 20mm latex tubing, 12 inches of MAKO Spearguns South African Orange Reel Line and 12 inches of band tying line to tie your constrictor knot.

NOTE: All edges of the MAKO Spearguns flashers are beveled and rounded smooth so they will not cut you, or your wetsuit or your gear.

Each MAKO Spearguns Flasher measures 8” L x 2.3” W x .137” Thick

    The best flashers

Posted by Matthew Steward on Aug 23rd 2015

Awesome flashers!!! These are the best I've used and I've used a lot of different flashers. Good sink rate and good helicopter action. Brings in the Fish for sure. They are brighter than other flashers under overcast or lower light conditions.

    good product with lacking QC

Posted by Ian Miller on Jun 22nd 2015

Works excellent and youtube assembly video is excellent. The quality of the applied holographic material is good, but the install invariably has bubbles or damage - I have no less than 20 single flashers and every one is not quite right.

Got to use them today and they sank slowly and were very bright. Liked them a lot.

    Nice bright flash

Really good flashers for the price. I like mine to sink fast for cudas and crevalles that swim deep at the dropoff of reefs, so I added a 3/4 oz sinker. Attach a 7" squid skirt to the end of each flasher and this thing is tantalizing
