We ordered a pair of fiberglass fins. Upon arrival one of the fins had a small crack near the tip. I notified Dano and emailed a pic and he sent a replacement fin right away. The fins are excellent by the way! The foot pockets are soft and transition to a firmer rubber where the support is most needed. This was my first purchase from Mako and I'm very impressed with both the product and customer service. Will definitely do business here again.

Real quality stuff! This is my third pair of fiberglass fins and this is the best. I'm a competition spearfisher sponsored by a top gunmaker and I can truly say these fins are top quality

The fins worked great getting me down to 50ft no problem. I did have to order two different size fin pockets because the first didn't fit well(the size chart was a little off). Overall they are a big improvement over my old plastic fins.

I purchased these in black, medium flex, size 12-13. I am a size 12 shoe and they are perfect for me. I got them right before a 2 week trip to Hawaii where I used them every day for snorkeling, scuba diving, and free diving. They fit perfect with the 3mm Kevlar socks OR fin keepers. The medium flex was perfect for all activities, fins did well surface kicking as well as under water. They are very comfortable and allow fluid kicking motion (giant strides, short choppy kicks, and even frog kicks for scuba). Plenty of power to move against currents even with scuba gear on, but not too stiff to where my legs were overworked. One thing to note is that they sink. I dropped them a couple times while getting in and out of the water, luckily I found them each time. Also, they are long and slightly challenging to travel with. I strapped them to my carry-on backpack rather than risking them getting crushed in a checked bag. I highly recommend these fins!

I never do a review on anything until I have thoroughly tested it. I have spent 6 hours diving with these fins and I am very impressed. To start with the foot pockets are true to size if you wear at least a 2 mil bootie. They are the most comfortable pockets of all the fins I have used. The fiberglass blades are the soft version in the green camo pattern. They look very cool. Very snappy and very responsive. I can only imagine how good the carbon blades are. But I do most of my diving from shore and the carbons would get destroyed. Bottom line: buy a pair, you won't be disappointed.

This product helped me win first place lake week and gave me unparalleled propulsion through the water. However, i also but the long fin bag with this purchase and the straps on the side to hold the spearguns snapped.

I bought the medium fins and the stiffness is perfect for me. 190 lb, 6'. The sizing chart is accurate as well.

I took a trip to the Abacos and was hoping to test out this new fins, unfortunately I didn't realize that the max depth in the Abacos is like 30ft. Needless to say I made it down to the bottom very quickly which I suppose gave me extra time to say "hi" to fish. I also made some friends with a few 4-5 ft Barracuda, they followed me around a lot and I'm sure they were just impressed by these fins.
