6 PLUS 1 = 7 BANDS:  Equipped with 6 inverted roller bands plus 1 kicker band, The MAKO Todos Santos is the ultimate Tuna Gun but can also be used for Wahoo and large reef fish.  

 All bands are anchored all the way back near the handle.  This added band length dramatically increases power, range and accuracy and reduces recoil at the same time.

 Double Roller Trigger:  A TOTAL GAME CHANGER IN SPEARGUN TECHNOLOGY and far superior to any standard reverse trigger, the MAKO Double Roller Reverse Trigger, made for MAKO by Ermes Sub, is the strongest, smoothest and most accurate trigger ever installed on a speargun.  The two roller wheels eliminate the friction found in regular reverse triggers.  These roller wheels dramatically increase accuracy because the trigger pull is always smooth and precise, no matter how many bands you have or if you power up your bands.  A TOTAL GAME CHANGER IN SPEARGUN TECHNOLOGY!!  

Cuttlefish shape (with weight ballasting) offers much better balancing and accuracy compared to straight cut wood guns.  The cuttlefish shape also delivers better tracking from left to right because the of the reduced height and lower profile. This dramatically reduces fatigue and is especially important when diving in current.

Floating Enclosed Track provides unmatched accuracy and makes reloading a lot faster and easier. And, unlike poured tracks that can crack and separate from the wood as it expands and contracts, the MAKO enclosed tracks are designed to float, thus allowing for expansion and contraction without harm to your gun. 

CNC formed channels lower your main roller band which assists in aiming, while at the same time, it dramatically increases power an accuracy by having the band more in line with your spear.

100% Teak hand selected from the finest teak supplier in Central America and cut to exacting specifications with our own CNC machine with detailed finishing done by hand.  After finishing, each gun is pressure infused with tung oil to provide long lasting good looks as well as overall protection with minimal maintenance. The end result, is a most handsome piece of art that you can proudly display on your wall and also, it will take down anything in the ocean.

MAKO 2.0 version AR15 speargun handle plus Military Spec A-2 Rifle grip provides comfort, accuracy and durability and accepts all MAKO and Ermes Sub vertical reels mounted to trigger guard.

Shooting line keeper:  We add a shooting line keeper on all wood MAKO wood guns. The shooting line keeper keeps your shooting line down and out of the way, while at the same time, helps protect your side line release lever from impact during transport.

8.0mm South African Sharkfin Spear with MAKO Penetrator Slip Tip:  The MAKO South African Carbon Spring Steel Sharkfin Spears are the strongest spears on the planet. Equipped with 3 sharkfin tabs, these South African spring steel spears are much stronger than stainless steel, but they do rust over time whereas stainless steel doesn’t rust. If you want to hang your gun on the wall, put a stainless-steel spear in it. If you want to shoot big fish, use a South African carbon spring steel spear.

Roller Speargun vs. Conventional Speargun

Because of the increased power offered by a roller gun, a roller gun will deliver the same shooting distance as a conventional gun that is 30cm longer.

For example:

• A 110cm roller gun will have the same shooting distance as a 140cm conventional gun.
• A 120cm roller gun will have the same shooting distance as a 150cm conventional gun.
• A 130cm roller gun will have the same shooting distance as a 160cm conventional gun.
