This is the second time I’ve bought these and I’ll always make sure I have a set on my guns. My guns hang out side (under cover but still hit by the sun) and when not being used a hit the bands with a little silicone spray and cover them and I’d bet they last twice as long. Virtually pay for themselves on the first extended band life between change needs…..not to mention the saving the hassle of having to retire bands as often.
Nice to keep bands together rather than use Velcro strap.

The guns that I use these socks have kept the bands in really great condition. This protects them from casual knicks while transporting and getting sun damaged.
For years I've been using the sleeve off of an old wetsuit to keep my bands in line during travel. I decided to give the MAKO band sock a try. I really like it! Does a much better job than the wetsuit sleeve and is also lighter. For 6 bucks you cannot go wrong!

The band sock is a good inexpensive option to keep your bands protected and out of UV light. A light spray of silicone and a quick wipe before covering and your bands will last much longer.
What can be said about band socks...they're socks that cover the bands. The less expensive the better and Mako socks are the least expensive I've found.
