3mm Rock Socks with Kevlar Soles

Attention California Shore Divers!

Rock Socks by MAKO Spearguns have soles made of Kevlar. That’s right! KEVLAR SOLES! I guarantee no other freedive socks are more durable than the MAKO Spearguns Rock Socks.

And guess what…They are made from 100% Genuine Yamamoto Neoprene. So, you get the most durable socks in the world and the most comfortable and the warmest socks ever made.

This is another example of MAKO quality at an amazing price.

What other freedive socks have Kevlar soles and made with 100% genuine Yamamoto neoprene?

NONE!

Why?

Because a sock with these features, sold at a dive shop would cost around $70.00 per pair. But, because MAKO sells direct to divers (no dive shop markup), we can offer the highest quality products for a lot less than dive shop prices.

These are the most durable freedive socks ever made!

Available in 3mm thickness

Features Include

  • The best neoprene in the world (Yamamoto neoprene)
  • 3 dimensional cut (left and right) for the best fit and amazing comfort
  • Non-skid KEVLAR sole for increased traction on boats and durability
  • Toes have abrasion resistant material to prevent toe nail cuts
  • All seams are glued, stitched AND welded to make a water tight seal and prevent unraveling of stitching from the high wear areas that contact the fin pocket.

NOTE: These Kevlar Soled socks do add a ½ size to your foot size.

  • If your foot pockets are a bit loose when you wear non Kevlar sole socks, then your foot pockets will fit perfectly with the Kevlar sole socks.
  • If your foot pockets fit perfectly when you wear non Kevlar Sole socks, then your foot pockets will be too tight with the Kevlar sole socks.

    Boots good

Thick and rugged. Protected bottoms of feet well from rocks when walking. Would prefer it not hold water inside of the boot.

    Work great!

Posted by Kyle on Dec 13th 2019

I purchased the 3mm rock socks to wear with my mako fiberglass pro fins. I am a size 12 shoe and got the size XL 12-13 for my size 12-13 fins. They fit perfect and allow my fins to fit snug, without these I have to wear fin keepers to prevent my fins from falling off. The socks are great for rocky entries into the water. They have a small amount of padding and the Kevlar bottoms held up well against lava rock, gravel, and asphalt with no visible damage to them. You can still feel rocks beneath your feet but it is much better than being barefoot. They slide on easily like a sock with plenty of stretch, no need for a zipper, and they fit well, I never felt like they were going to fall off. I would highly recommend these, especially to pair with fins that may be slightly too large.

3mm rock socks with Kevlar Soles

Posted by John Iwaniec on Dec 13th 2019

Dano/ Brad I love the 3mm rock socks with Kevlar soles we have a Lotta rocks here in Okinawa and I really can’t do without them. However I thought I had ordered two pairs and I only got one. Overall the socks are a very good product hold up 10 times longer than a regular pair of neoprene socks. I continue to advertise for you with all my diving buddies. Also just got my new carbon fiber fins they are very tight I am a full size 13 and your fins are eight 12-13. Really would like it to see you come out with a size 13 to 14 for us taller guys. The booties require you to go at least one step up But I am afraid if I went with the 14 to 15 they may be too big. Overall I love your products they are very good quality and affordable price.

    Durable

stretchy, good fit, durable. I am on the size cusp, but a small stretches comfortably over my size 8 feet. I will order a medium when these wear out (if they ever do) and see if they still fit snug.

I have been using kevlar sole socks for years. These are reasonably priced and exactly what I needed.
