MAKO Spearguns 3 in 1 Traveler Pole Spear

Perfect for small to medium size fish and perfect for travel, the MAKO Spearguns 3 in 1 Traveler Pole Spear is three pole spears in one. Capable of taking fish weighing as much as 10 to 15 lbs, this 3 piece design measures a whopping 6' 7" and breaks down to only 27.5" long for easy storage and travel and allows you to configure the length to your specific needs.

3 piece: 6' 7" long for normal hunting conditions
2 piece: 4' 5" or 4' 11" long for close range hunting and Lion Fish hunting
1 piece: 33" inches long strictly for killing Lion Fish

MAKO uses a high strength, corrosion resistant, anodized aircraft aluminum spear which will NEVER yield painful fiberglass splinters in the hand (like some inexpensive fiberglass pole spears do when worn down). The connecting joints of the MAKO Pole Spear are supported by recessed flush screw on connectors for a smooth release.

The 3 in 1 Traveler Pole Spear includes:

Three interchangeable sections for 3 different pole spear lengths.
One 5 prong cluster (paralyzer tip) with "sure grip" barbs on each prong.
One full length MAKO "Latex Power Band" for 3 pc and 2 pc hunting.

NOTICE: The 5 prong tip has been heat treated and hardened to INCREASE STRENGTH.

This hardening process will allow for rusting. However, the rust WILL NOT affect performance!

Kept coming unscrewed no matter how tight i twisted it. Bounced off about 5 fish and only got 1. After the first day of my trip in bahamas a left it at the house and rented a hawiian sling...

Love it...Lightweight, compact, very durable, easy to assemble, pack and use. Perfect for small to mid size fish (6 to 8 lb range.) Providing a "safety cord"of some sort, which would attach to the wrist, would be an added bonus because they are fairly easy to drop (and sink) if your not using it properly.

For about $100 you get 3 pole spears, tips, some basic gloves and the ability to hunt from the reef to smaller pelagic species. Great for traveling or times when expensive gear isn't necessary. It's nice to get back to basics once in a while. This is the perfect piece of kit to do it.

Really awesome pole! Breaks down and put together supper easy! Just don't shoot to close to any reefs because the barbs bend pretty easy! But over all it's an awesome pole!

Great little travel spear. good for fish under 12 pounds and for lionfish. Called to inquire between travel and regular spear. customer service was excellent. when I am ready to upgrade, I will buy from MAKO.
