At first I thought well it’s okay. A bit hazy but at least I can see if my camera is on. FYI remove the protective plastic it’s shipped with. Way better. Going to see if it will attract some lingcod too. Lol

Comes in handy on solo dives, replaced the bungy with zip tie and hang it off belt, if I can’t remember if the GoPro is on, I grab it. Does it’s job.

Really does help to give you a "rear-view" mirror effect so you can check your GoPro status, check for leaks in your gear, or just occasionally give in to your paranoia about sharks sneaking up on you - LOL

This is the second mirror I have gotten from Mako. Not because there was anything wrong with the first one. Got it because it's such a great product and I sometimes allow my Solo Scuba students to use it. As a solo diver and Solo course instructor a mirror is an important piece of kit for doing bubble checks and equipment checks on land and in the water. The design of the Mako mirror allows a diver to have this and not worry about storing it in a pocket where it could get lost. It's always there when you need it. Out of the way, secure, and easily accessed since it's on the back of your hand. This is what I recommend to my solo class students as their first choice when it comes to this essential piece of kit for a solo diver/
