Item Description

California Kevlar Dive Gloves

Hey Guys,
These are the UGLIEST gloves you will ever see, but no other dive gloves are warmer and more durable than the MAKO Spearguns California Kevlar dive gloves.

I am totally stoked with my “Kevlar Jacketed Yamamoto Diving Gloves”, specifically made for California Divers who dive in cold and rocky waters.

Built specifically for California divers who demand the best in quality, these MAKO Spearguns California Kevlar Dive Gloves have a Kevlar jacket for enhanced protection against rocks and shellfish.

And we didn’t stop there. Take a look at the seams. All seams have been welded with a bead of latex to provide unmatched strength and durability, thus making these gloves THE MOST DURABLE DIVE GLOVES AVAILABLE.

But what about comfort? Check this out…The ergonomic 3D design means these gloves have the natural curve that matches the natural curve of the relaxed position of your hands. That not only makes them comfortable, it adds agility and dexterity as well.

Oh yeah..One more thing… Did I mention these are made of Yamamoto Neoprene? Like all MAKO Spearguns wetsuits, socks and gloves, these California Kevlar Dive Gloves are also made with the highest quality neoprene in the world (Yamamoto).

Sizes: Small, Medium, Large, X-Large & XX-Large
Thickness: 3mm or 5mm

MAKO DIRECT PRICE: Only $47.95 pair! Don’t let this low price fool you. These are high quality, high performance, Yamamoto/Kevlar Diving Gloves. The reason I can offer these badass gloves for such an amazing price is because I sell direct to you, the diver instead of through dive shops.

And, because we sell direct to divers, these MAKO Spearguns California Kevlar Dive Gloves, made of genuine Yamamoto neoprene, actually cost less than non Yamamoto dive gloves that are sold in dive shops.

If you have any questions about these or any other MAKO Spearguns products, please feel free to contact us at any time.
Dive safe,
dano

    Moray bite

Posted by Jens Fischer on Feb 6th 2022

I took a Moray bite in these today grabbing bugs in socal. Luckily the eel was smaller and only got the tip of my finger, but I escaped unharmed. I now appreciate that the kevlar wraps around the top of the finger, blocking me from being cut. Glove was also mostly undamaged, some cuts in the sealant and neoprene but to be expected.

I have been diving with these gloves in the early fall of New England and my hands have been staying warm. No rips or damage when holding onto rocks trying to grab lobsters!

    Stout gloves

Theses glove help in our local lakes that have zebra mussels in them, bare hands get cut every other time at the water. Will use them off Miami and the Gulf also. Better to get good gloves than a good hand surgeon.

Great quality the strap design needs to be redesigned. So you don’t have to thread through the strap loop. They need to be wrap around Velcro.

Comparison to a more expensive brand

Posted by Jason Shaffer on May 12th 2020

The quality of the make and feel of these gloves is apparent. When compared to my dive buddy's more expensive set of dive gloves they appeared to be easily their equal in make. The sealed seems all around is also a very nice feature, definitely seems like it will increase the durability in the long term.

    Longest lasting gloves

Posted by Joel Anderson on Apr 2nd 2020

spearfishing and diving for lobster, I usually go through about 3 pair of gloves per summer/fall, but I've been getting about 2 years out of one pair of these gloves, which ends up being less expensive in the long run.
