MAKO Spearguns 3 in 1 Traveler Pole Spear

Perfect for small to medium size fish and perfect for travel, the MAKO Spearguns 3 in 1 Traveler Pole Spear is three pole spears in one. Capable of taking fish weighing as much as 10 to 15 lbs, this 3 piece design measures a whopping 6' 7" and breaks down to only 27.5" long for easy storage and travel and allows you to configure the length to your specific needs.

3 piece: 6' 7" long for normal hunting conditions
2 piece: 4' 5" or 4' 11" long for close range hunting and Lion Fish hunting
1 piece: 33" inches long strictly for killing Lion Fish

MAKO uses a high strength, corrosion resistant, anodized aircraft aluminum spear which will NEVER yield painful fiberglass splinters in the hand (like some inexpensive fiberglass pole spears do when worn down). The connecting joints of the MAKO Pole Spear are supported by recessed flush screw on connectors for a smooth release.

The 3 in 1 Traveler Pole Spear includes:

Three interchangeable sections for 3 different pole spear lengths.
One 5 prong cluster (paralyzer tip) with "sure grip" barbs on each prong.
One full length MAKO "Latex Power Band" for 3 pc and 2 pc hunting.

NOTICE: The 5 prong tip has been heat treated and hardened to INCREASE STRENGTH.

This hardening process will allow for rusting. However, the rust WILL NOT affect performance!

The 3-in-1 Traveler Pole Spear supports 3 configurations:

• 3 piece: 6 feet 7 inches
• 2 piece: 4 feet 5 inches or 4 feet 11 inches
• 1 piece: 33 inch Lion Fish Killer

Optional Lionfish Barbless Tip & Short Band

For hunting Lion Fish, you can select the optional "3-Prong Barbless Lion Fish Tip & Short Band". Designed specifically for hunting Lion Fish, the tip has 3 prongs (without barbs) making removal quick and easy, while the shorter band is designed specifically for using just a single section of the pole spear.

The Mesh Carry Bag has 2 separate compartments - A main pocket for pole spears and an accessory pocket for pole spear tips.

The Pole Spear Mesh Carry Bag fits traveler pole spear sections from 22" up to 44" long.

Pole spear thread joints are always loose now afte

The threaded joints are starting to flare causing the pole segments to stay loose all the time

The quality of this at the price offered is unreal... Flush-fit connections make this feel like a one-piece pole and the grip kit is worth every penny. Better than any fiberglass pole I've used.

First polespear I've ever used and missed constantly, but the pole wasn't damaged at all when hit against the rocks.

I cannot say enough positive things in regards to my recent order. I was traveling to Kauai in 8 days from when I ordered a little concerned I would not receive. I made a call to the number on website and gentlemen who took my call was great and advised they should be able to ship out next day and transit would get it to me in time. Sure enough it arrive 3 days early and after a week of diving and trying my best to shoot an Ulua or giant trevally after missing everyone years before, I did not get but two shots and unfortunately missed both. Regardless I cannot say enough positive things on my first experience with Mako and highly recommend to everyone. Floyd

Had a few questions and the customer service was absolutely top notch. Even after I had placed my order they called back immediately because I misplaced a few items in my cart and they took the time to guide me through every option. The pole, grip, and tips are top quality. Although I haven’t used it yet I have practice and can feel the quality of the materials.

Absolutely happy with my recent purchase of the 3 in 1 travel pole spear! Bought one for my son and one for myself too! Very solid construction, well put together and affordable! Anxiously awaiting the opportunity for our first trip to bring in the lion fish haul for a family dinner!

Amazing value and quality

I have bought multiple fiberglass pole spears from my local dive shop for $80 and this spear far surpasses them. Ignoring the astoundingly low price tag, the spear is incredibly solid and robust and I have landed well over a hundred fish on it. The shaft is rather slippery but this can easily be resolved by wrapping some automotive friction tape in a spiral around it. 10/10 would buy again
