Item Description

Yamamoto Freedive Socks 3mm & 5mm High Cut

Freedive Socks made of Yamamoto Neoprene? That’s right…MAKO Spearguns Freedive socks are made of “Yamamoto Neoprene”.

Hey Guys, My Yamamoto freedive socks are made by the exact same factory as the expensive brands. They are available direct from MAKO Spearguns for a lot less.

Same Factory – Same Quality – No Dive Shop Markup!

What other socks are made of Yamamoto neoprene? There probably aren’t any.

Why not?

Because Yamamoto Neoprene is the absolute best material in the world, and most expensive which is why you could not find freedive socks made of Yamamoto Neoprene……………..Until now!

However, because we sell direct, we are able to offer Yamamoto Wetsuits and Yamamoto Freedive Socks for less than non Yamamoto products.

Even our neoprene gloves are made of Yamamoto Material. Have you ever heard of gloves made of Yamamoto neoprene? Probably not! But, you have now.

How do we do it? Again, it is because we sell direct to divers.

Not only do we use the best material to make our freedive socks, they are made with a 5 panel design which is by far superior to 3 panel socks. The result is a more custom like fit which provides more warmth, flexibility and durability.

Thickness: 3mm or 5mm

Our Freedive Socks are certified by Tomizo Yamamoto (President of YAMAMOTO Corporation) and me (Dano Krahling, President of MAKO Spearguns) to be Genuine YAMAMOTO Neoprene.

Genuine YAMAMOTO Neoprene Certificate

    Cold Water Tested

Posted by Stephen Breen on Jun 17th 2015

I started fishing this year when there was still a significant amount of ice in the water. No issues with cold feet. Every other part of my body, yes, but my feet were fine.

    Great product

Posted by Samuel Nachant on Apr 13th 2015

I purchased the 3mm socks and and very happy with them. The Yamamoto neoprene is warm and easy to put on. The grip on the soles is like Velcro on rocks, they make some of my shore dive walks 10x easier and more comfortable. I am once again highly satisfied with my mako purchase.

    Great booties

Posted by william silvestri on Mar 4th 2015

I've had my original Yamamoto booties for several years now and have used them for a variety of water sports: freediving, kayaking, beach combing. When they finally started showing signs of wear I opted to get more of the same. Why mess with success!

    New Mako Socks

These fit really good on my feet and were not loose. I paid double for a name brand pair last time and they filled with water and were easily torn.
