I got this hood for my son because his suit is hoodless and he says it keeps him warm. Can't say much more than that.

I bought this to add just a little warmth for diving in S. Florida. I use it with a 3/2 wetsuit. Truthfully, this thickness hood is going to add just a bit of warmth, but hoods always help.

staff very welcoming and helpful to questions about product. Good quality of material and stretchy enough to not be uncomfortable but still maintain seal and function. Sizing: go with how hats fit. if u have larger hat size go with large or above, small/Med if you wear smaller hats, exception would be with round face or big cheeks, I would recommend sizing up
