MAKO Float Line Clutch (New Product)
The MAKO Spearguns “Float Line Clutch” works just like “cable pulling socks” or “cable grips”, commonly used for pulling rope and cable.
A must for big game hunters and hunting in sharky waters, the MAKO Spearguns “Float Line Clutch” takes the work out of fighting large fish while safely and easily managing your spearfishing float line as you pull your fish in.
Installed on your spearfishing float line and connected to your spearfishing float, the “Float Line Clutch” will automatically stop and hold your float line in place the moment the fish tries to run. While retrieving your fish, each time the fish tries to run, the braided constrictor sleeve will automatically tighten down on the float line and the fish will again be stopped in its tracks, thus preventing the fish from going deeper.
This can be critical when sharks are present!
To let the fish out, or to return the float line to original position, simply pull back on the front end, which allows the float line to pass through.
The MAKO Spearguns “Float Line Clutch” also adjusts the length of your spearfishing float line. No need to bring multiple float lines with you on those destination dives. If your spearfishing float line is 100 feet and you are diving on a reef in 50 feet of water, simply pull 50 feet of float line through your MAKO Float Line Clutch” and you’re done. It’s that easy.
Works with all standard vinyl spearfishing float lines with at least one D ring and removable tuna clip (longline clip).
