MAKO Spearguns Line Cutter

You can never be too safe. This Line Cutter will cut right through mono fishing line and rogue nets.

Includes convenient clip-on sheath with posi lock hold.

Optional nylon pouch with Velcro closure available.

NOTE: The nylon pouch is popular because sits lower, so it can be worn closer to your front side as possible. This way, you can get to it with either your left hand or your right hand. It’s the first thing you should put on your belt.

Safety line cutter

Well, everyone should have one in case of fishing line/net entanglement, especially freedivers! Well made in Italy. I like mine mounted to pull upward out of sheath, and I used some paracord to secure the sheath to the belt, as the clip doesn’t like to stay on it’s own on the rubber belt. Wouldn’t be without one.

But, it seems like a good alternative, or rather option, besides shears and a knife. Being able to cut the line already saved my life once and it is NOT east to do so with a knife. I will try out the line cutter on my 400 lb mono and be able to give a more definitive review

I tried it out on 12 strands of 20lb braided fishing line and it whizzed right through!

Im happy to add this to my weight belt. I dive with two knives already but like the add d insurance of having this on my belt

A good cutter while I had it. I wanted to have a cutter simply as a safety precaution, the high vis color was a great identifier, very sharp and fit well in its sheath. Unfortunately the belt clip didn't fit properly around my dive belt and I ended up losing it on my second dive..
