The MAKO Hook Style Load Assist with leash and leash plug is perfect for loading roller guns as well as long conventional guns. Also used by divers with injuries where loading is an issue. 

NOTE:  For shorter roller guns, the MAKO Wishbone type load assist can also be used.

Instructions:

Step 1:  Use your MAKO hook style load assist to hook the wishbone on your gun bands

Step 2:  Pull back and temporarily rest the load assist wishbone onto your sharkfin tab.

Step 3:  Tuck the leash plug under your gun band (between band and barrel).

Step 4:  Pull the gun band back the rest of the way and load as you would a conventional gun.  As you do, the load assist comes off.  However, because it is tethered to the gun, it does not float away.

Step 5: Pull the leash plug out and tuck it into your belt.  This is a great way to keep your load assist handy until needed again.
