I bought this as an extra safety measure for line diving (CWT, CNF, FIM). I just wanted the extra assurance given the typically poor visibility in southern California. I works very well, you barely notice you are using it while diving. I got the stainless steel version, and so far I have seen no sign of rust in the clip or the swivels.

This was my first purchase from Mako and based on my experience it will certainly not be the last. Impressive speed of delivery and the lanyard itself is very comfortable and gives me piece of mind on the line. When I show up for deeper dive practice on the line my buddies always oooo and aaaah about the lanyard.

I really liked this Landyard. If there is one with longer cable I would buy it too so I can move more freely in no fins.

Purchased this lanyard (with the aluminum biner) to practice on lines more safely - Great product, very well made - So far I've only tested it in the pool, but I'm looking forward to using it in the open water!
