New and improved: These MAKO elastic bands for the MAKO “Quick Out” Penetrator Pole Spear Slip Tips are now made of silicone. Silicone bands outlast and outperform rubber and latex bands—resisting UV, salt, and cracking.
They work with all pole spear slip tip brands - simply adjust your Dyneema or cable length so the band lightly holds the slip tip in place. This allows the tip to easily deploy into your fish.
NOTE: Before rigging your slip tip cord (or cable), fully stretch the band a few times to reach operating tension.
NOTE: For longer life and increased performance, do not store pole spear with band extended.
