MAKO Spearguns Yamamoto Diving Gloves - Reef Camo

Diving Gloves made of Yamamoto Neoprene? That’s right…MAKO Spearguns gloves are made of “Yamamoto Neoprene”.

What other gloves are made of Yamamoto neoprene? There probably aren’t any.

Why not?

Yamamoto Neoprene is the absolute best material in the world, and most expensive which is why you could not find gloves made of Yamamoto Neoprene……………..Until now!

Designed exclusively for spearfishing these Reef Camo Diving Gloves combine unmatched durability with incredible sensitivity needed for optimum trigger control. All finger tips and palms are re-enforced using high tech AMARA synthetic leather to protect against cuts from sharp objects. Made of high quality 2.0mm neoprene with camouflage lining for durability and comfort with the added bonus of a Velcro strap for a custom snug fit and tight seal, these gloves are the number one choice among serious spearos.

Because we sell direct, we are able to offer our Yamamoto Wetsuits and Yamamoto Gloves for less than non Yamamoto products.

Our Diving Gloves are certified by Tomizo Yamamoto (President of YAMAMOTO Corporation) and me (Dano Krahling, President of MAKO Spearguns) to be Genuine YAMAMOTO Neoprene.

    Very Good quality Glove

Posted by Evan on Oct 5th 2020

Used it everyday since I got it. Comfortable and incredibly very good fit. the best part was how good of dexterity I had with the gloves on, especially when tightening and adjusting my mask and fins in the water. And in 50 degree weather here in the Cuyuna Range Minnesota at present. My hands are not cold while swimming in the mine pits. so that was amazing, wasn't expecting that , that's for sure.

    Second pair

Posted by Unknown on May 15th 2020

I got these to replace a 3yo pair of black gloves. They enable good dexterity and warmth, and the velcro straps last a long time, unlike other brands I've owned. They tend to tighten up and constrict once wet, so be sure to put them on while dry, if possible. It's felt like my fingers are getting squeezed after a long time in the water; overall, these are well-constructed, tough neoprene dive gloves.

If you are diving around rocks or reefs in warm water, then these are the gloves ! I usually come home after a day of diving with one of two cuts on my hands, not now.

-NJF- Great Quality Warm Water Glove

Posted by Nathan Fragala on Feb 2nd 2020

These gloves are a great companion to the camo suit, however they are not lined with any neoprene so they are quite useless in cold water. I would really like to see a set of 3-5mm open cell camo gloves with closed cell inner finger tips for internal durability, heavy duty outer grip on the palm and fingers for external durability/warmth, and solid velcro wrist straps.

    Good quality

Posted by Marquis Martin on Jul 13th 2017

Overall these are great gloves. Really rugged and hold up to a lot of abuse. I have a bad habit of ripping gills out by hand to bleed fish instead of using a knife to cut them and all of my other gloves have tears in the fingers from it within 1 year. I am working on the second year with these and no holes in fingers. That being said I was a little surprised that the stiching that binds the leather palm and the neoprene started to fail as well as the stiches that bind the velcro strap. Not the end of the world since a little sowing fixed the problem.

    Awesome Gloves

Posted by Adrian Kawaley-Lathan on Jan 19th 2017

The measurements on the gloves were spot on, a perfect fit, great warmth in winter weather conditions. Great to have velcro to seal wrists, best gloves I've owned yet.
