I spear fish from the beach and its nice to have a some protection while entering and exiting the ocean. Easy to clip on to a d-ring to keep from loosing it too.

I like the string feature as I can thread it onto my weight belt and it doesn’t get lost.

Bought my first speargun, a 130 titan elite. Got the bigger one in hope of getting a nice wahoo in FL soon, or would have gotten a smaller one which is smart to learn with. In learning to handle that spear when reloading, got minor prick on my finger once, but had a situation when handling the spear out of the gun where the back of the spear lodged against a rock and the tip was pointed at my abdomen. Not good, but nothing happened but a lesson. Always positively control the tip, and from now on I’m keeping the tip protector on until it’s time to dive down to hunt. Will also take some spearfishing instruction at the first opportunity.

Does what it should, keeps the tip from being dulled, barbed or stabbing you in the eye after having too many beers and mucking around with your gear.
