I'm just going to keep trying to leave this review until it shows up... This is my fourth try but no matter what if I leave a review three stars or less it never shows up on mako's website. I've contacted them three times about it and I've gotten no resolution. I'll be glad to remove this one once any of my other less than four star reviews show up. I've left a bunch of five-star reviews, so I know those show up. Anyway, as I've said before, this tip rusted extremely quickly even though I rinsed it with fresh water everyday. It also bent easily. It's pretty crap.

The spear tip is great, sticks both big and small fish and won't let go. In fact the biggest issue is removing the fish after. It does tear the meat up some.

The headline says it all. Simple order...executed well. Asked to have order shipped promptly as I was late in ordering and it was shipped out that day. Greatly appreciate the customer service and that 5 prong tip just annihilates lionfish (although want those head shots as the five tips rip up the delicious meat if you spear it in the body).

Good packaging and excellent quality

Greetings. I wanted to take a minute to say thank you for your Outstanding Service. Being new to Spear Fishing, I asked several questions to learn the best products to suit my needs. All of which were answered without ‘selling’ only ‘servicing! Mako Spearguns treated me and my new favorite Sport of Spear Fishing like a friend. Their service, knowledge and honor of this sport are exceptional and go the added distance. For that I will remain a long-time friend. Very Refreshing!

I have now hit several lionfish with the 5 prong barbed tip that kept fish on long enough to get them into the zookeeper, when I know they would have certainly pulled away off the the original 3 prong spear tip with out barbs. Excellent spear tip. I wish this tip would come with the spear I purchased from Mako rather than the original 3 prong.

Appears to be good quality. Sharp and compact. Site wouldn't let me submit other reviews while leaving this one blank.

Decent for the price. JBL prongs are made better.

I have not used these yet. A few reviews indicated they are prone to bending and damage if you shoot the spear into a rock. After looking at the spear, nobody should be surprised at that. So I bought 2 extra tips. There is no doubt that these will do the job, and then some.

The prongs are great and affordable. Provided great and clean kills to all fish
