Great products and fast shipping!!

I haven't had a chance to use this yet (saving for a trip to Japan), but it makes the polespear look less clunky than with the default 5-barb paralyzer tip. Great service as always from Mako. If I had one suggestion it would be to make it more apparent that the tip threads of the original polespear are pretty unique, because you probably won't find another tip that fits it without this adapter. Of course, if I had done an ounce of research I would have figured it out, impulse buyer here--anyways, just a suggestion.

A must-have for going after larger prey. A great option in a small package to ensure you're ready for whatever mother ocean has in store for you that day. Fit and finish are a little rough, won't screw into the spear entirely and can be difficult to install and remove without tool. It's functional though, so still 4 stars.

Came on time, nicely packaged. Having the adapter and 12" spear tip make a huge difference when going for game 20" and above. Haven't lost a single fish since, knock on wood!

The adapter works fine. It extends the pole length by another 3 inches. Snug fit.

I'm glad Mako started offering this adapter and the big game tips for the travel spear. I got the 6" single flopper because I wanted something that would penetrate all the way through a thicker fish an something I didn't have to worry about if the tip hit a rock/ reef.

Fits tight and does the job

This was not an option when i originally purchased my pole spear. Thanks for this! A great option to carry along for those bigger fish. Then simply unscrew top section to apply the 3 or 5 prong for lion fish.....
