MAKO Spearguns Yamamoto Diving Gloves - Black

Diving Gloves made of Yamamoto Neoprene? That’s right…MAKO Spearguns gloves are made of “Yamamoto Neoprene”.

What other gloves are made of Yamamoto neoprene? There probably aren’t any.

Why not?

Yamamoto Neoprene is the absolute best material in the world, and most expensive which is why you could not find gloves made of Yamamoto Neoprene……………..Until now!

These Black Diving Gloves are designed exclusively for spearfishing combining unmatched durability with incredible sensitivity needed for optimum trigger control. All finger tips and palms are re-enforced using high tech AMARA synthetic leather to protect against cuts from sharp objects. Made of high quality 2.0mm neoprene with an outer lining for durability and comfort, they include an added bonus of a Velcro strap for a custom snug fit and tight seal, these gloves are the number one choice among serious spearos.

Because we sell direct, we are able to offer our Yamamoto Wetsuits and Yamamoto Gloves for less than non Yamamoto products.

Our Diving Gloves are certified by Tomizo Yamamoto (President of YAMAMOTO Corporation) and me (Dano Krahling, President of MAKO Spearguns) to be Genuine YAMAMOTO Neoprene.

    great quality

These gloves appear to be very well made and are warm for their thickness. I wish you would make some 5mm for the colder parts of the season in RI.

They work great and keep my hands warm. No problems with them getting in the way either.

    Good all around Dive gloves

Posted by Nick Hendershot on Oct 22nd 2015

I use these gloves for both spring and reef diving, they have held up well for almost a year now. The gloves are kind of thick so they are not the best for warm water diving/spearing , but do provide warmth and protection. I find it semi difficult to strap my wrist mount dive computer with the gloves on so i usually leave one off. Overall for the price I think they are a great value and would recommend for the average reef diving/explorer. If you want some real thin, more nimble spearing gloves I would try the other ones Makos offers.

    Feels nice!

I tried the gloves on, they feel great. I have long fingers, so the finger holes are a bit short, but not a big issue . I still love how they look and feel.
