    Best Floatline on the market

Posted by Orlando Rodriguez on May 19th 2020

I have had this floatline for 2 years now. I have had boats run over the line twice and after untangling it from the propellers the line was still intact. Just yesterday while going fast, the float flew out and pulled the line with it and my gun. My buddies set up flew out too. His set up is from another brand and his tuna clips broke. My whole set up from Mako was intact. Nothing beats this floatline. The only line I trust. I have the 75ft and 50ft line. Upon receiving it in the mail you will notice right away how quality this product is. Thanks Dano!

Had the cheap one, this is better

Just buy this. I wish I had this from the start. Bought the rope one thinking it would be fine. It is, but this is much better; smooth, pliable and easy to handle. Just get this one, it's cheaper than buying something else first.

    High quality float line

Is very easy to roll up comes with velcro strap for easy transport and storage. I have taken it around cliffs and shallow reefs and has proven to be tough when it counts.

    Great line, worth it.

For a few years, I used poly rope from box stores. I thought these kinds of lines were a bit pricey and I could save. But poly rope often tangles, it soaks water and sand. The Mako floatline works great. I got the blue in 50 ft, then the yellow in 100 ft. I should have just gone with the latter. The line floats, does not tangle, it is easy to rinse, and you can keep it short by adding another shark clip at the float end. sometimes I add a poly rope extension to the 50 ft, it is manageable. But this is a quality line and saves time and stress. I spearfish around jetties and avoiding tangles is a safety issue in rough seas and currents. very happy.

It does what it’s supposed to and it does it well! It is very buoyant and doesn’t sand on anything!
