These are good little back up dive lights (i've not used them on the mask). I also have the 1000and 650 lumen lights distributed by Mako Spearguns. Fantastic products and excellent shop. Happy returning customer!

Does the job. Not super bright but it's what you would expect for a light that size. One huge advantage though is that it keeps me nice and visible for my diving partner in the Pacific Northwest. We have cold dark murky water so I use it for safety more than anything. 5 stars.

This light is tiny, throws a strong narrow beam and rides unnoticed on my face mask. The beam is narrow and focused. When it arrives there is a barely visible wrapper on the battery. Remove it before use. I thought mine was dead. It just needed unwrapping. A trick attributed to William Truebridge that I learned from Nick Fazah is turn the light on. Then back off the knob until the light just turns off. When you dive the water pressure exerts enough force to close the contacts and the light turns on automatically. This maximizes battery life and makes operation a non event.

The beam is more of a spot but perfect for my use. i use two of the wrist mount flashlights and guaging lobster at night with this method is a challenge as i need the light below my hand and not above. The mini dive light serves its purpose here.

I use this light on the end of my speargun for scuba applications when looking under ledges. It has worked well in that application. Very tight narrow beam. Several dives now with it and it has held up better than some of the other competitors out there.
